Powerzinc¡¯s
initial focus is on the fast growing Electric
bicycle market in China. The market has been
growing at 100% per year over the past few
years and expected to reach 3 million units
per year by 2005.
Powerzinc has successfully completed the integration
and testing on DQFC powered zinc-air fuel cell bicycles. Powerzinc have entered into
multiple intentional sales agreements with
major Electric bicycle manufacturers in Shanghai
and city of Suzhou. Sales has started in the
fourth quarter of 2002.
In addition to being an OEM power source supplier
(¡°Powerzinc-inside¡± strategy), Powerzinc also
plans to launch its own brand named Electric
bicycles. |
