Powerzinc utilized its proprietary technology to produce electrolytic zinc powder that have branch-like structure. Chart below is an electron microscope image of Powerzinc’s zinc powder structure and atomized zinc powder of a conventional battery. The specific surface area of the conventional battery is 0.02m2/g, whereas the specific surface area of Powerzinc’s zinc powder is 1.5m2/g. The large specific surface area of Powerzinc’s zinc powder enables the fuel cell to generate high power and high energy.
